1. Introduction

By accessing or using Dr.Dropin’s online or in-person healthcare services, including consultations and related information, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the services.

2. Emergencies

Dr.Dropin is not an emergency service. For a life-threatening or critical situation, including severe breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, severe chest pain, a serious allergic reaction, major trauma, loss of consciousness, severe burns, a suspected heart attack or stroke, or a fit that is not stopping, call 999 immediately.

3. Our Services

Dr.Dropin provides in-person and video healthcare consultations. Practitioners are appropriately registered with their professional bodies and practise in England. Availability and consultation details are published through the website.

Appointments are normally intended to address one main issue within the booked time. If you expect a more complex consultation, you should book sufficient time. Certain procedures require advance confirmation with the clinic. Dr.Dropin does not prescribe medications that are unsuitable for this service, including controlled drugs and medicines requiring specialist monitoring.

4. Eligibility

Patients must normally be 18 or over. Where services are available to someone under 18, appropriate consent and supervision from a parent or guardian is required.

5. Registration and Accounts

Certain services require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential, keeping your information accurate, and for activity undertaken through your account.

6. Booking, Prices and Payment

Appointments may be booked through the patient portal, website, clinic or telephone, depending on the service. Current service prices are shown on the website. Private prescriptions do not include the pharmacy cost of medication.

An appointment is confirmed when the required payment has been completed. Changes or cancellations should be made as early as possible. Dr.Dropin’s current policy may charge the full fee for cancellations or rescheduling within 12 hours of the appointment. If Dr.Dropin must amend or cancel an appointment, it will contact you as soon as practicable.

7. Privacy and Data Security

Personal information is handled in accordance with Dr.Dropin’s Privacy Policy. You should read that policy to understand how personal data is collected, used, protected and retained.

8. Our Responsibilities

Healthcare practitioners are responsible for providing care with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with applicable professional standards. Dr.Dropin is not responsible for third-party advertising, external websites or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including network, software, security, industrial-action or public-system failures.

9. Liability

Dr.Dropin is responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by a breach of these Terms or a failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The patient portal is provided on an “as available” basis.

10. Code of Conduct

You must use the services lawfully and must not misuse accounts, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or abusive material, interfere with system security, or behave abusively towards practitioners or staff.

11. Your Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and current information, including valid identification where required. Accounts are personal and should not be transferred or shared, except where a legal guardian is authorised to act for a child. If you believe another person has accessed your account, contact hello@drdropin.uk promptly.

Patients who are not resident in England may use eligible services, but must be physically located in England at the time of a medical consultation where required.

12. Termination and Cancellation

Dr.Dropin may suspend or end access to services where appropriate, including for breach of these Terms. You may request closure of your account, after which stored information will continue to be handled according to applicable legal and privacy requirements.
